This weeks YW Handout

Our lesson this week was on Marriage standards. I found these little glass slippers at The dollar Tree and attached a saying " In preparation for eternal marriage every step you take is fragile"

My first sewing project !

My mom made this little bag.....its "real" purpose is to hold a few diapers and a wipe container but can really be used for a bunch of different things. I told my mom that I really didnt need to carry a diaper bag all the time and I wanted to find something I could just throw in my purse. "TA DA" this is what she made. It is totally cute. So she helped me make one too. I havent sewn anything since 7th grade Home Ec. ! Of course my mom cut out the pattern and helped me every step of the way . Mine is the one with the button. Cute huh?

My mom made these cute candles-- I think Im gonna make more and donate them to our Ward Santas Workshop. They are cute and easy gifts.

This weeks crafts

I decided I needed to do a separate blog so I can post my YW stuff and my craft creations. My mom was here all week so of course we went craft crazy .......I have been asked to make some crafts for our Ward Super Saturday and I decided to do these frames. They are so cute and easy to make. You can make them for any occasion by choosing paper to match. Frame-$1.00 paper- .25-.59 depending on the paper .
